As we prepare for the 16th Annual John Griner Golf Tournament on TUESDAY June 15, 2021 at Green Brook Country Club, one can’t help but reflect on the spectacular success of the Annual John Griner Golf Tournaments .
All participants feel that this is a true memorial to John. Whether at work, at golf or just discussing last night’s Giants game John seldom spoke quietly. His enthusiasm always shined through. The spirit we all felt at these events was definitely John’s. He would have loved it.
The children of Chai Lifeline and The Jay Monohan Center were chosen to be the recipients of the funds raised.
Chai Lifeline is an international not-for-profit organization which provides vital support services for children with serious life-threatening and lifelong illnesses; most notably cancer.
The Jay Monohan Center focuses on the prevention, screening, treatment, support, research, and education for individuals who have or are at risk for developing gastrointestinal cancers.
Together with the most generous support of David’s Cookies we have raised over $300,000 for Chai Lifeline and The Jay Monohan Center . We know that John Would be grinning ear to ear to see how much good a simple golf tournament in his name has created, and we hope to keep going.
